Lil Missy has been in quite a good mood lately (knock on wood) and her antics keep us laughing every day. I honestly wish I could just video tape her all day to show people the silly things she does. Wouldn't that make me popular?! But, I figure if you are reading a blog dedicated to Emily, you came here for some stories, so here goes!
Last Sunday we went out for breakfast and when we came home, she refused to take off her coat. She is obsessed with this pink leopard coat lately and when she isn't wearing it, she is dragging it around the house with her.
She also decided the outfit wasn't complete without a sun hat.
I was getting ready for work one morning and I noticed that I couldn't hear her usual chatter coming from my room. Never a good sign.
I peeked around the corner and found that Emily was "wearing" my glasses and practicing her new paper tearing skills on a box of tissues.
So proud.
Since it was Valentines week, I tried to dress her in hearts as much as I could. Turns out, she has lots of outfits with hearts on them!
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday*
(doesn't count because her heart outfit was too small to fit over her head, but for the sake of continuity- and because she looked cute anyway- I am including it)
Thursday
Friday
Friday was also pajama day at school
And - in no particular order - some random pics and stories from the week.
This is the face we see alot these days - any time she isn't getting what she wants (in this case, my phone) she scowls those little blonde eyebrows at us.
Intimidating!
She has become quite the little tycoon lately! She loves putting change in her piggy bank and then immediately flipping it over to take the stopper out and empty it.
She is really working hard lately at figuring out how things work.
We were handed down a double stroller recently, and before we could get it put away, Emily commandeered it. If you need her, she can most often be found sitting in it, or crawling in and out of it, and looking out the window.
Wearing her backpack, eating crackers and watching TV.
Always on the go!
Life is good!
I absolutely am reading this blog for Emily stories - though I'm ok with a few Reagan/Mikey ones thrown in now and then, too. Wish I knew how to share some of my pics and vidoes from our afternoon with the Fabulous Miss Em yesterday - too cute! Grandma Beverly
